President Trump talked about the weapon that the Delta Force used in Venezuela.

MH-60M

There was suspicion that the U.S. troops used some kind of acoustic system in Venezuela during the Maduro capture. The system was probably a combination of the electromagnetic and acoustic weapons. That could knock out electronics and Maduro’s guards.

The symptoms that the Venezuelan troops got, like a bleeding nose, nausea, and loss of ability to operate, indicate a weapon that uses an infrasound and ultrasound combination. That combination causes nausea, and the person loses the ability to concentrate. That kind of system was used in South Africa during the apartheid government for prison interrogations. Whether the system is LRAD or non-targeted loudspeaker-based is not known.

There is a possibility that the Delta Force used an acoustic system called “brain jammer”. That system uses acoustic waves. To fall people. To sleep. That kind of system. Makes it possible to complete raids on difficult targets. Those systems are also suitable for solving hostage situations. There is also a possibility to use acoustic waves for “Rapid Transition: Research indicates that falling asleep is not a slow, gradual process, but rather a sudden shift, or "tipping point," where the brain quickly transitions from a waking state to a sleep state.” Or, that’s one version of the acoustic wave use in special situations.

The LRAD (Long-Range Acoustic Device) can be installed in a helicopter. Like the MH-6 "Little Bird" spotlight. That system can send highly accurate acoustic waves to the target.

LRAD weaponized cone of sound. (ResearchGate)

There is a possibility that the U.S. troops used those systems to disturb the Maduro guards' sleep. And that made the mission easier to complete. The electric shutdown tells. About some kind of electromagnetic system. So maybe. Those systems use a combination of radio, microwave, and acoustic systems. To knock out enemy guards, shut down communication, and alarm systems. Details of those systems are secretive.

But acoustic systems can be deadlier than anybody expected. Along with stroboscopic light that is synchronized with EEG-alpha waves, that system can cause epileptic symptoms. Researchers also found the wave. That puts a person to sleep. A weapon system uses that noise. The targeted person simply sleeps in that moment. That opens the road for attackers.

There is an interesting detail in the acoustic, subliminal systems. Those systems can be used to give orders to enemy troops. There are so many suicide cases in the Russian army, and sometimes it is suspected that Russians or their opponents can give commands to soldiers to commit suicide. If the system operator uses infrasound loudspeakers. It's possible. To incite an enemy or another targeted person. To make things that they don’t otherwise do.

The weak point of NATO is its northern archipelago.

Russian Kilo-class submarine on its run.

The archipelago between Canada and Greenland is huge. That is also a good place to operate with smaller compact diesel-electric submarines. Like a Russian Kilo-class boat. Kilo and its successor, Lada class submarines, are a small, quiet, and heavily armed submarines that can carry hypersonic “Kalibr” missiles. Those submarines can try to use those missiles against British cities and military installations. And in some visions, the small diesel-electric submarines try to use the British archipelago as a shield.

There, they will shoot the hypersonic missiles. Against the targets in British territory. There is a transformation from that model. The Russian submarines can use an Arctic archipelago as a shield. And then try to get their launching positions from the Hudson Bay or Newfoundland-Labrador areas.

It’s possible that Russia plans to make the nuclear-powered variant of those submarines. The Soviet-era Alfa-class submarine technology can be modified to use in a Kilo- or Lada-class submarine hull. The submarine can wait in that archipelago and then follow the Greenland coastline. Most of the Kalibr missiles. Those that were used in Syria. Were shot. From Kilo-class boats.

And shoots NATO bases with hypersonic missiles. If that submarine can enter the Hudson Bay, that point can offer it a position to launch missiles against the coastal bases. Or, if the submarine can enter the Newfoundland and Labrador peninsula, it can launch cruise missiles with a range of 660 or even 2500 kilometers against the U.S. bases.

The risk of using this archipelago as a point, where a nuclear missile submarine can lurk and shoot its missiles, came to the strategist's mind when the Argus sea patrol aircraft found the Soviet Hotel-class submarine on the surface run near Newfoundland on 24 February 1972. There was a fire onboard. In that submarine. And it must surface. This is known as the “K-19 incident”. The scenario is that the nuclear submarine travels below the northern ice cap to that arcipelago and then shoots its ballistic missiles at the USA. The worst threat is the situation where the nuclear missile submarine can travel to Hudson Bay and shoot its missiles.

Hotel-class submarine on surface run, 800 miles from Newfoundland.

The northern archipelago.

"A U.S. Army Special Forces paratrooper conducts a high-altitude low-opening military freefall jump with an MK–54 SADM" (Wikipedia, Special Atomic Demolition Munition)

"SADM in its carry bag" (Special Atomic Demolition Munition" (Wikipedia, Special Atomic Demolition Munition)

The Alfa was a compact, fast, and deadly nuclear submarine that used a lead-bismuth cooled, beryllium-moderated reactor. The speed of that submarine was 41 knots. The technology used in Alfa can be mounted on the Lada or Kilo-class submarine. The system can use the same reactor. The Poseidon torpedo, which gives that underwater drone a speed of 100 knots.

Or. Those diesel-electric submarines can also be pulled to that operational area by using cargo ships or nuclear submarines. The submarine. That which hides in the Arctic archipelago can shoot missiles. Against early warning radars and the NATO bases in Greenland.

Another threat is the Russian giant Poseidon. Or a Status-6 torpedo with a 100-200 mt warhead lurks in that archipelago. If that warhead detonates, the system can create a tsunami; the water condenses through those straits. Or the torpedo travels to the southern point of Greenland and detonates itself. In some models, those systems can hide between those islands. The submarine that operates those torpedoes can travel around Greenland and then shoot them through the Baffin Bay.

That northern area. With a very low population. And a large icy desert.  Makes it possible to send paratroopers to that area, or those operators can also operate from submarines. They can operate as agent-saboteurs. Modern equipment makes it possible. That even a small group of men can cause horrible destruction.

Or they can take other hostile actions. Like, try to kidnap people and mark the early warning radars. Or they could install systems that can record or destroy those early warning radar stations. Special forces can use the EMP bombs or SADM Special Atomic Demolition Munitions, or “Briefcase nukes” against the NATO bases at Greenland. Those weapons are easy to hide. Near those targets, and then the radio signal can detonate them.

That kind of way to use small nuclear bombs also makes it possible that the third party can get those portable nukes in their hands. In the worst cases. Somebody connects the SADM detonator to a warship. And then detonate that system in some NATO harbour. In some other simulations, those mini-nukes can be detonated in Greenland ice. That detonation can put. Thousands of tonnes of ice. To move to the sea. That can cause a large tsunami. Those tsunamis can endanger Nuuk city, bases, and ships. If they are under a tsunami.

New autonomous task units are entering service.

"The deal will create much-needed competition for the Department of War acquisition process. (Representational image)" (Interesting Engineering)

The U.S. Navy has a 200-foot-long (approximately 61 m) autonomous surface vehicle that can advance its combat capacity. The large sea drones. They can carry large and flexible computer systems that can allow them to operate independently.  Those computers can run complicated and effective algorithms. And those systems can operate as independent kamikaze-drones. Robot missile boats and a platform for flying drones. Those systems can be dangerous to all other vehicles. And they might also have a role as cargo systems. The system is basically similar to the Ukrainian Sea Baby drone, which successfully operated in Simferopol harbour.

There is also a possibility that those large robot vehicles can act as development platforms for larger and more sophisticated systems. The sea drone, like autonomous surface vehicles (ASV) and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUV), can have an unlimited operational range. If those systems use a Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator (RTG) that gives electricity to the electric engines. This gives the system virtually unlimited operational range. There is a possibility that things like Orca-class drones can have that kind of propulsion system.

"Multi Mission Uncrewed Surface Vessel." (Interesting Engineering)

The first hydrogen-powered drones are operating in Ukraine. And they seem promising. Those drones use fuel cells. And the thing. That makes them interesting. It is because. Hydrogen. It is easy to produce. Using electrolysis.

If we think about. The larger underwater and surface drones use radioisotope batteries. That can be connected. Into a series. As chemical batteries. Those systems can operate theoretically indefinitely. There is possiblity that those drones carry sub-drones that can use hydrogen as fuel. That means that those drones can create. The hydrogen for those flying or underwater swarming drones. By using electrolysis. There is also a possibility. That, quite soon, we will see full-size submarine drones. They might carry supercomputers for running algorithms. The large size, nuclear-powered drone can operate in the same missions as a manned submarine.

Those drones can operate on hydrogen-powered versions of the Shahed drones or their jet-powered variants. The drone can use hydrogen in the fuel cell. Or it can use hydrogen-powered ramjet engines. In that case, the hypersonic drone or missile must be launched. From the platform, using a rocket, which accelerates the drone to a speed of about Mach 1.

And of course, hydrogen can be used as fuel for the regular piston engines. But, if the thing. Like. An aircraft carrier can have hydrogen-powered aircraft or an air wing. It can create hydrogen from water. By using electrolysis. That gives unlimited operational capacity to those aircraft.

FP-5 Flamingo: poor man’s cruise missile.

The Ukrainian FP-5 Flamingo is an example of the ability to create a cheap cruise missile using spare parts. The large-sized drone has the capability to target locations up to 3,500 km away from the launch site. The drone itself is not very high-tech. It has an infrared camera. That helps to aim it at the target. The fact is that the IR sensor. It might be connected to the AI-based system, which helps the missile to recognize the target. Or. The agents can use. Some kind of small drone. With an infrared LED to mark the target for that missile.

The missile requires only the location of the launching point. And then the missile can be used. An inertial navigation system with GPS. Then, in the last part of the journey. The missile starts to use an IR sensor. The system can actually operate with the same guidance system as the famous Javelin missile. Javelin is a much smaller anti-tank weapon. But the same programs and computers can be used in larger missiles.

Those large missiles can carry large warheads. But they can also carry cluster or small kamikaze drones to target areas. The FP-5 Flamingo can also carry things. Like other missiles. Those missiles can take out radars. The large drone can also carry some kind of ECM systems. The warhead is about. 1000 kg-class high explosive.

The FP-5 Flamingo might seem quite an easy target. But. We know that there are lots of things. That is not told about that weapon. Things. Like, its homing and target-seeking protocols are not published. The AI can give it the ability to make evasive maneuvers. But that is guessing. The fact is this. If those missiles are so easy targets, why do they not fail their missions? Another thing is that. Those missiles are an example. Of how fast the drone’s R&D cycle is.

The USA used civilian-style aircraft against suspected narcotics smugglers.

The USA used civilian-style aircraft against suspected narcotics smugglers. There is no mention of whether that aircraft uses civilian markings. Or was it only civilian style, but used army markings? There is a possibility that the Pentagon tested the effectiveness of those weapons.

The system. The military used GBU-69s and AGM-176s. In those strikes. Says the Washington Post.

This means that if there were some P-8 Poseidons in that area, their mission was probably to detect a target. The AGM-176 Griffins and GBU-69 Small Glide Munitions are made for SOF purposes. Griffin is a lightweight, low-cost, multi-service air-launched weapon featuring GPS-aided inertial guidance and a semi-active laser seeker. GBU-69 utilizes semi-active laser and lattice-type control fins. They are similar to the GBU-57. For guidance and terminal stability. And. It is capable of receiving in-flight targeting updates via two-way data link. (Air & Space Forces Magazine). The GBU-69 seems. Being a miniature version of the GBU-57 MOP.

The P-8 will probably not carry those weapons. But CLT (Common Launch Tubes) tubes can probably be mounted in those aircraft. Those new weapons are meant for special missions. But they can also be used for anti-tank and other purposes. Like an attack. Against fire control radars and other precise targets like aircraft and helicopters.

But. It's also possible that the launching units of those systems can be mounted in the torpedo racks of the P-8. In some missions. The special system. Called common launch tubes (CLT) makes it possible. To install those weapons into various types of aircraft. The CLT systems are mounted. Into the MQ-9 Reaper drones, AC-130 gunships, but also into planes like Cessna Caravans. There is also a possibility.

That SOS operates with regular-looking cargo planes. Those tubes can deliver their ammunition from the doors of helicopters and almost all aircraft. This means that CLT tubes can also be installed in the P-8 or some Boeing cargo plane. Those systems can deliver those weapons from the back door of the aircraft. And that means any aircraft can turn dangerous.

Those CLT tubes can be mounted theoretically into any aircraft or helicopter. And they can give the high-accuracy, precise hit capacity to any aircraft. In those operations, the drone can point. The target of those small munitions. And then the aircraft delivers those missiles at a direct angle. If one of the missiles or GBU’s hits targets like aircraft, it can destroy them immediately.

EMP weapons: new tools for the military.

B-1 drops a bomb. (Internet)

There is suspicion that the EMP weapons open the road to strikes in Venezuela. The measurements indicate an electrical impulse that damaged and shut off the electrical systems. There is a suspicion that the U.S Air Force used the EMP, or E-bombs, to destroy the electric system. The EMP weapons were invented in the 1950s and 1960’s. On July 9, 1962, the U.S. military detonated a nuclear weapon over Honolulu. The EMP pulse shut down the entire electric network in that city. The codename of that nuclear test was “Domimick, Starfish Prime”. This test shows. How dangerous those EMP weapons are. After that test, the EMP weapons were developed to use conventional explosives.

Those systems are installed. In JDAM, smart bombs can shut down enemy air defenses. The thing is that. An EMP weapon can be defensive. Or offensive. Those weapons are planned to be used against drone swarms. The EMP weapon can be based in satellites, where it can destroy other satellites. Those systems leave the satellite outside undamaged. That means those systems don’t increase the amount of space junk. But EMP destroys the satellite’s electronics. In Air-to-Air missiles, those EMP weapons can  improve their operational capacities.

Another thing is that the satellite can drop EMP bombs to early-warning radars, and those bombs delivered from orbital trajectory can act as a pathfinder. Things. Like hypersonic missiles. They can also use. EMP systems. To open the road to their attack. The hypersonic missile can carry wind generators that give energy to the EMP transmitters. That destroys electric systems along their route. Those systems can also destroy the anti-aircraft missiles whose mission is to destroy incoming warheads.

The system uses a battery that is pressed by using explosives. That thing can press energy to microwave transmitters. And it makes very high-power microwaves. There is also a radio-wave-based system. Is tested. Those systems send powerful radio waves to the targeted electric lines. And those systems can cause damage to the computer systems. The EMP weapons are also planned to be installed. Onboard things like ballistic, hypersonic, and anti-aircraft missiles. Those missiles can take out the drone swarms. There are also introduced systems that are based on EMP weapons. Those are put on the ground. Those systems can send an EMP impulse.

The E-bomb

To the aircraft that fly over them. But. Those EMP bombs that were introduced in the Net are only one of the EMP weapon systems. There is a possibility. Those EMP warheads are also installed in smaller missiles. Like Javelin, Stinger, and Hellfire. In those systems, the rocket system can rotate the generator. And the system. Looks. Like the fireworks plate that rockets rotate. When the missile flies to the target, the EMP system is in its nose. The EMP shuts down or disturbs the targeted systems. and it can cause vital damage to the tank’s protective systems. That mission is defend tanks against missiles. That comes against the targeted tank. The EMP system can take out those active protection systems. But there are also EMP systems. Those are mounted on board helicopters. Those EMP weapons. Can use high-power impulse capacitors that pump energy into the more or less coherent radio- or microwave maser systems.

MH-60 (TWZ)

Those EMP weapon systems can take out alarm systems in the targeted houses. The system can be more effective if the radar that searches it can lock on the target. That target can be the drone that flies near those helicopters. Then the drone marks the target for the helicopter and its EMP system.

That helps the helicopter aim its EMP system at the right targets. So, when radar tries to lock on the target. The helicopter can shoot the EMP pulse at the targeted radars. Those systems can protect helicopters against drone swarms. The briefcase-sized EMP weapons can destroy electronics in targeted buildings. And that technology can be effective in the hands of criminals, who might want to commit burglaries, and, before that. The EMP can shut down the alarming system. There are also EMP or microwave bazookas that can destroy the drone swarms. There is. Also introduced an idea that things like cities and other targets can be surrounded by using maser systems that make a microwave fence around the target area.  The EMP systems should be effective against robots and other automated weapon systems.

The U.S. strike on Venezuela causes diplomatic problems.

The U.S. strike on Venezuela was a complex cooperation among all types of military actors. That strike can violate international law. But nobody cries for Maduro. The problem is that this kind of action can escalate to other countries. And then those kinds of actions can cause the spread of nuclear weapons. The nuclear weapon is a tool that provides a good shield and raises other nations' tolerance. This is the reason why many dictators want nuclear weapons in their arsenal. We can say that if Maduro had nuclear weapons, this strike would not done.

The U.S. intelligence made a big effort to study. The behavior of Maduro. They knew even their favourite food. This kind of information is very important. To locate the targets. The kidnapping mission itself required very accurate planning and execution. The RQ-4 Reapers. Probably took down the Venezuela air defense, which was blinded by jammers. The role of the individual units is kept secret. Things like at least one RQ-170 “Sentinel” drone took part. In this operation. As the coordinator’s eye.

But probably. Also in a strike role. It is an interesting detail. The thing that this operation shows is that anyone is safe from those strikes. This is one of the first times. When the head of state is captured. This kind of operations causes problems with international laws. The fact is that. Maduro is or was a dictator. International law also applies to dictators. Another thing that this kind of attack causes is the discussions. The discussions are things like safeplaces for criminals and allowance to grow cocaine in the land of some state.

International law gives a chance. The government that sees a criminal. Can ask for the transfer and arrest of the criminal from the state. This is the problem in cases. Their state refuses to make an arrest. The problem with the Venezuela strike is this. Russians attempted the same thing in the Ukraine case. They tried to kidnap and transport President Zelensky to Russia. But when we think about crimes. The problem is that. Every state in the world determines. Crimes themselves. What if Putin asks someday to deliver some people to Russia, by persecuting them for terrorism? Should those people be delivered?

There are states that. Determine that only speech against the leaders is a crime. One of those states is Saudi-Arabia. The newspaperman who spoke against the leaders was tortured and killed in the Sudi-Arabian embassy. International law. Gives protection. To those people who made that thing. This means that. If Saudi-Arabia gives them diplomatic immunity. The case was the Jamal Khashoggi assassination. The place was the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul. That means that those people are free to go. Saudi-Arabia is one of the U.S. allies. But what if those Saudi-Agents kidnap some other country, like Finnish citizen from the streets and do the same thing in their embassy?

Or maybe we want to put the name “Iran” in the place of Saudi-Arabia. Another thing that causes criticism against international law is cases where terrorists use embassies as bases and shoot people from those places. Diplomatic immunity denies operations in those places. And that’s why some governments use diplomatic posts to send weapons. Another problem is that there are states. Those who sell their citizenships and offer diplomatic immunity to people who pay for those things. And also, people like Putin offer safeplaces for other dictators.

About. The Western states' right to select countries where they or we desire to change the government. International law says that a dictatorship is not a reason. For attacking the country. But another question is: what if the government gives support to criminal organizations and terrorists? Of course, human rights violations are ordinary things. In the world. Of Third World states. The fact is that these kinds of operations.

Causes also pressure to make similar operations against the Israeli Prime Minister, Netanyahu. But. Another problem. Are Mr. Putin and Iranian-type governments. The problem with the Iranian government is that it systematically sells weapons to Russia.

Paramilitary, non-governmental organizations, and private military contractors are things. That can keep governments off the dirty work. The guerrillas can also be trained by mercenaries. So, what if President Trump delegates these kinds of actions that he made in Venezuela to private military contractors?

The Iranian government supports terrorism. It supports the paramilitary groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. Those non-governmental actors are the Islamic-style versions of the private military contractors. Private military contractors like “Blackwater” that changed its name to Academi, and Wagner PMC that operates under some other contractor’s name are examples of private military contractors. The model for those actions is simple. “If you want to go to war, hire somebody to fight for you!” and that caused a situation where the Soviets willingly gave training and support to any group that manifested as Socialists. Soviet Special Forces SPETSNAZ gave training and weapons to guerrillas. And still today, Wagner PMC and other Russian “non-governmental” organizations are supporting their allies in Africa and Latin America.

Those contractors are rising in power. Into modern power policy. By using private or non-governmental organizations as tools. The governments can stay away. From military operations. Throughout history, mercenaries and private military contractors have done dirty work for governments. There are many versions of those actors. The French Foreign Legion was the tool that France used to get colonies. That military unit gave a chance to avoid. French victims in those wars. Those mercenaries were prisoners and persona non grata, which meant people at home didn’t want them back. But from the 1950s. Private military corporations are taking bigger roles in conflicts. The Iranian version is the Islamic military groups.

Why must we search for other extraterrestrial civilizations?

At the beginning of this text, I must say that not all alien life forms are probably intelligent. Most of the alien life forms that we can imagine or predict are bacteria. There is a possibility. That some bacteria or viruses can survive interstellar travel. That means their genetic material remains in a condition that it can transfer into the cells of Earth organisms.

A virus is a protein package. There is genetic material. And that thing can survive in the freezing cold of interstellar travel. The gamma- or X-ray bursts can destroy that genetic material. But otherwise. The space between stars is very stable. It freezes genetic material almost forever.

There are no certain observations about the alien civilizations. So, we have no confirmed observations about those still hypothetical aliens. But when do we detect them? We don’t know. But. That can happen tomorrow, or it can happen after 1000 years.

But then, to the intelligent lifeforms. Why should we continue the Search For Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) program? Because there are billions of stars in our galaxy. And there are billions of galaxies in the universe. Somewhere there must be alien civilizations. And the SETI program ends in the day, when we see that civilization.

Here I must say one thing. Even if SETI finds another civilization. That doesn’t mean that we make contact with that civilization. This is one of the things that people must realize. But. Confirming the existence of another civilization is very difficult.

There are a couple of so-called breakthrough listen candidate signals. Those signals are. So-called Wow! and the Alpha Centauri signals. Those signals are unique, and we don’t know how long they lasted. We know only the part of those signals that the radio telescopes captured. And that is one of the things that we must realize. The thing is that those signals happened only once. Supporting the model that they were synthetic.

If we think that the origin of those signals is in a natural source, that means they should repeat.  But. There is a possibility. that their origin was in the reactions as the Gamma-ray burst traveled through the plasma of some star’s flares. There is a possibility that a very rare natural effect causes those signals. But. As we know. The universe is a strange place. And. It's possible that the fast energy pulse travels through plasma fields. But as we know, we must only guess how long those signals lasted. And because there are no other similar signals, we must only guess whether they are synthetic or not.

So, why have aliens not contacted us yet? The reason for that can be that they don’t detect us. Even if we send microwaves. And radio signals all around us, we must realize that. Those signals traveled for less than 200 years. 200 light-years is quite a short distance in the scale of the Universe.

And when we look around us, and look at things like the closest stars, we can see that we are surrounded by young stars. Sirius is the brightest star in the northern sky. Sirius is a binary star system, and the brighter component of that system is only 230 million years old. Sirius B is a white dwarf. That was once a Sun-like star. Components of that star are formed in different places and at different times. And once in history, gravity locked those stars together. If Sirius B had some kind of planetary system, Sirius A would destroy it.

Things like mature red dwarfs can also be more suitable harbours for life than we think. A red dwarf can exist as a star far longer than the Sun. If we think that the Sun will stay. As a yellow star for about 7-10 billion years. The red dwarf can exist as a star for about 11 trillion years. The young red dwarf has a hyperactive period. Just like other young stars. Then, after the hyperactive period, the red dwarf’s planets can turn into the harbours of life. That period starts later than in the Sun-type stars.

But it takes longer. The fact is that most of the red dwarfs near our solar system are young. The age of Proxima Centauri is about the same as the Sun's. And Wolf 359 is about 0,1-1,9 Gyr( Gigayear(10^9, or Billions of years)). The third remarkable red dwarf, Barnard’s star, is about 10 Gyr. This can explain why there are no civilizations near us. The only star system that is the same age as our sun is the Alpha Centauri system. Those stars (Alpha Centauri A, B, and Proxima Centauri) are all about the same age as the Sun.

Another thing is that. The alien civilization might not hear us. The universe is full of radio sources. But the thing is that. We don’t know what those aliens look like, how they communicate, or where they are. We don’t know anything about their culture. And we certainly hope that we detect them before they detect us. The third thing that we can hope for is that the alien civilization is not as destructive as we are. But. If we someday detect an intelligent civilization, we must carefully think. About our next step. We must realize that those aliens can be hostile. But when do we detect them? As I wrote many times. That can happen tomorrow or after 1000 years.

The Chinese cargo ship can return the CAM ships to sea.

"China’s drone launching cargo ship concept. (Chinese internet)" (TWZ)

“CAM ships were World War II–era British merchant ships used in convoys as a stopgap until sufficient escort carriers became available. CAM ship is an acronym for catapult aircraft merchant ship” (Wikipedia, CAM ship). CAM ships launched Hurricane fighters from a catapult. Those Hurricanes were used to shoot down long-range Focke-Wulf Fw-200 “Condor” aircraft, which the Germans used to track convoys for U-boats. The Hurricane was unable to land on the deck of the CAM-ship. The use of that aircraft meant that the Hurricane must land on water.

The Hurricane was lost, but it could shoot down FW-200, and that was a pretty good exchange. The Germans. Did not have. Very many Fw-200 aircraft. The total production number of Fw-200 “Condors” was 276. And they were manufactured between 1937 and 1944. The purpose of the Fw-200 was to search and locate convoys. From the Atlantic. They had a 1000 kg bomb load. But. Those aircraft needed their bomb bays for extra fuel if they patrolled far from the coasts. And later. Those aircraft. Equipped with anti-ship missiles.

Fw-200 "Condor"

“A maritime-configured Fw-200 could carry a 1,000-kilogram (2,200 lb) bomb load or mines to use against shipping, and it was claimed that from June 1940 to February 1941, they sank 331,122 tonnes (365,000 tons) of shipping despite being furnished with a rather crude bombsight. These attacks were typically carried out at extremely low altitude in order to "bracket" the target ship with three bombs; this almost guaranteed a hit. Winston Churchill called the Fw 200 the "Scourge of the Atlantic" during the Battle of the Atlantic due to its contribution to the heavy Allied shipping losses.” (Wikipedia, Focke-Wulf Fw 200 Condor)

The CAM ships and escort aircraft carriers used against those Condors. And in some modern warfare scenarios, the VTOL aircraft. Those that operate from merchant ships can be used to destroy. The large-size. Maritime patrolling aircraft like Tu-95 “Bear”. Those multi-role aircraft with anti-submarine capacity are good targets for jet fighters.

"A Hurricane IA before launch during trials at Greenock, in 1941" (Wikipedia, CAM ship)

And those aircraft couldn’t operate far away in the Atlantic without fear of being shot down. The fighter escorts couldn’t protect those aircraft in the middle of the Atlantic. And finally, escort carriers and their fighters swept maritime-patrolling Fw-200 Condors away from the skies.

Those long-range four-engine aircraft played a vital role. For locating convoys to U-boats. After WWII, there was a plan. To equip CAM ships with remote-controlled kamikaze drones. Those drones would fly to the target. Using the radio-control and TV-camera. Which helps. Operators to aim the system. To the target ships or other targets. The Japanese Kamikaze pilots gave inspiration for those.

Remotely-controlled kamikaze drones that could be aircraft filled with explosives. There is suspicion that the famous Flight-19. A group of 5 TBM-3 Avenger torpedo planes was lost in 1945 after WWII in the Bermuda Triangle. Were. Those kinds of remotely controlled kamikaze drones. The remotely controlled kamikaze drone can carry a far heavier explosive load than regular cannons can deliver.

A closer look at the catapult ‘train’ created on the edge of the deck. (Chinese internet) (TWZ)

But then to modern systems. When. We look at. The Chinese merchant ship. Which is equipped. With catapults and maybe “Kalibr”-type missiles, that system can be deadly. That magnetic track can launch drones into one-way trips. And that means the system can use kamikaze-capable drones to track targets. And then the ship shoots those Kalibr missiles from container launchers. When those kamikaze-drones used their fuel. They can attack their targets. Another thing is that. Those drones that the ship launches can land on the sea, and there the recovery system can collect them back onto the deck.

Of that system. The recovery system can use submarine drones or helicopter drones. And combat swimmers who connect the drone to the hook. The ship can also launch drones that can dive. Under the sea and rise to the air. The underwater drone can also dive. To the bottom of the sea. And there it can wait for orders to strike. The merchant ship can also be used. A container-based anti-satellite (ASAT) or anti-ballistic missile system (ABM). Those container missile systems allow those systems. To operate anywhere on the seas.

Those merchant ships that use modern missiles are tools that can be far more deadly than ever before. When we think about merchant cruisers of WWII, none of them carried even homing torpedoes. Even if those ships use Shahed-131. Geran-1 or Shahed-238. Geran-3 type drones. They can enter. Close to the target. Those systems can make surprise attacks.

When we think about kamikaze-drones. There is no limit to their size. Things like liquid natural gas (LNG) tankers or full-scale merchant ships can also act as surface drones. Those systems can detonate the LNG near coastal cities. Or the merchant ship can be loaded with conventional or nuclear explosives. In the worst case, those merchant ships can also be loaded with lithium batteries. And that can be used for the nuclear explosion that turns the 150 mt. Status-6 ”Poseidon” system into fireworks.

Cell membranes can act as a power generator.

"Schematic of an active cell membrane. In a typical active biological process, active proteins (shown in a variety of colors) in a cell membrane (shown in blue) interact with various biological components, such as the ATP molecules (shown in white and red). These interactions of active proteins generate active noise (fluctuation) force within a cell membrane, mechanically affecting the out-of-plane displacement of a cell membrane. " (ScitechDaily, Cell Membranes May Act Like Tiny Power Generators)

"Due to the flexoelectric coupling of a cell membrane, changes in out-of-plane displacement induce changes in the transmembrane voltage of a cell membrane, resulting in energy harvesting, active transport of ions, and the generation of electric current across the cell membrane. Credit: Pratik Khandagale, Liping Liu, and Pradeep Sharma" (ScitechDaily, Cell Membranes May Act Like Tiny Power Generators)

Cell membranes can act as a tiny power generator. That observation can be used in nanotechnology. The cell membrane that generates electricity can serve as the power source for tiny microchips that control cells and their behavior. The power those cell membranes create. It is 90 millivolts. That does not seem very high, but it could be enough to feed nanotechnical microchips. Those cell membranes can also feed the cell’s tiny electric engines, which rotate the small fimbria.

That puts the cell into motion. The cell controls the direction where it moves by changing the fimbria’s bottom inclination angle. A similar system can move the nanomachine. There are actually two types of nanomachines. Non-biological and biological. A biological nanomachine is a bacterium. That natural behavior is transformed. Or manipulated to serve certain focuses,

Another benefit of this observation is that it enhances our knowledge and understanding of how other cells communicate with the nervous system. This allows developers to make systems. That allows computers to communicate with cells.

“The researchers found that the electrical differences produced across the membrane, known as transmembrane voltages, can be surprisingly strong. In some cases, the voltage may reach up to 90 millivolts. This is similar in size to the voltage changes that occur when neurons send signals in the brain.” (ScitechDaily, Cell Membranes May Act Like Tiny Power Generators)

“The timing of these changes is also striking. The voltage fluctuations can happen over milliseconds, which closely matches the speed and shape of typical action potential curves seen in nerve cells. This suggests that the same underlying physics could help explain how electrical signaling works in biological systems.”(ScitechDaily, Cell Membranes May Act Like Tiny Power Generators)

This means. Those electric signals can allow. Neurons communicate with other cells. Using those electric signals. The computer can mimic those signals, or it can control cells using a cloned neuron as a socket.

The ability to communicate with the nervous system allows. The nervous system. To control cells and their behavior. The computer that is connected to the cloned neuron. Which. Makes it possible to control cells by using the electric impulses that the system gives to cells. These kinds of things. Can. Make a new revolution in medicine. And other types of technologies.
